No. Stickr works entirely on its own — no downloads, no logins, no phone required for everyday use. The only time a phone is even useful is as one of two options for the initial Wi-Fi setup, and even then it's just your phone's browser, not an app.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to power on, and the same press-and-hold for 5 seconds to power off.
Yes — it automatically powers off after 10 minutes of inactivity. This won't happen while it's sitting on the network setup page.
There are two ways to do it:
No — Stickr only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Double-click the microphone button to reopen the network setup page and connect to a new network.
Press and hold the microphone button, say what you want to see — "rainbow kitten," "spaceship," "flower castle," anything — then let go. Stickr generates a matching image and gets it ready to print.
Eight different styles:
From the standby or printing screen, press either of the middle two buttons to toggle between styles. Keep pressing until you land on your favorite.
Auto Print sends each sticker to print automatically as soon as the image is ready. Manual Print waits for you to press the top rightmost button whenever you're ready to print. Press and hold the top rightmost button to switch between the two modes.
Make sure the paper roll is loaded straight and neatly, and avoid using oversized paper rolls.
This is usually caused by dust or residue on the print head. Gently wipe it with a damp cloth or a little rubbing alcohol.
