Why we built Stickr, and how we think about AI for kids
Stickr started at home, with a curious kid, a laptop and a lot of questions about what AI should look like for children.
AI is going to be part of our children's world. We wanted their first experience of it to be creative, imaginative and in their own hands, not another screen to stare at or a chatbot to talk to.
Our goal is simple: introduce AI to enhance creative and imaginative play for our children, in a safe and responsible way.
As parents, we wanted our kids to create. What we found instead was a list of worries.
Every design choice comes back to one question: is this safe, and does it let her imagination lead?
